- I was introduced to the positive power of the journey with love first hand when my husband Ray Whitfield died of lung cancer. As the Director of Development and Volunteer Services for Hospice Partners of Southern California I am dedicated to helping others who are facing the challenging times that come with a terminal diagnosis so that they can experience a journey with love.
