Today's Update

Greetings & Radiant Health!

Loved ones, the latest update on Ray's journey is that we have had, as many of you know, a successful thirteen month journey since his diagnosis of Stage IV lung cancer. We have been successful at keeping quality of life as our focus and I am delighted to say that it continues. Last week, it was determined that the cancer has spread to his brain and he has begun what we expect to be successful radiation treatments to maintain his quality of life.

Some folks believe he looks better than I do, so I am taking deep breathing lessons and have been encouraged to access my support network. That's why I am writing this blog so that everyone will be able to get information at the same time. We had a magnificent haircutting ceremony this weekend.  Photos of the new de-locked Ray are to come.

Uh, are you SURE that cutting off Ray's locks was the right thing to do?  It had pretty dramatic consquences when I did something similar.

Love to you both--Delilah

Oh, Noerena and Ray!  Where have I been?  Noone has mentioned a thing about Ray's health problems.  I am so sorry for both of you and send my love.  Noe, I remembered that your birthday is in March and "thought" I would send you a card, but that is as far as I got.

Ray's picture is great.  Please give him my love.  If I were there, I would play with his hair!!!!  Ray is a favorite of mine and I wish you both the very best.

Hugs and Kisses

This journal is a great idea!  Glad to hear, all things considered, how well you are both doing.  I admit I got spoiled with all the wedding trips to the west in the last couple years -- I got used to seeing you - so at least now I can stay informed - and see an occasional photo!  Know that you are always in my heart, thoughts and prayers.  Sending lots of love, hugs & positive hopes, charmaine
